To that, add a politically incorrect—that is, freedom-centric—approach to public often blunt, impolite, and unpolished but authentic in an age of plastic talk. Trump elevated the public’s understanding of media bias, dishonesty, and partisanship. He defended unborn children, articulated why America’s founding generation was unrivaled, and paid tribute to America’s veterans and law enforcement communities, as well as the nation’s exceptional, entrepreneurial, and risk-taking spirit. He apologized
to no one for America’s greatness.
Concretely, President Trump secured the passage of the largest tax relief bill since Ronald Reagan, unremittingly rolled back federal regulations, and triggered the fastest, broadest economic recovery on record, boosting employment across virtually every sector and along with increasing business creation, income, and stocks and returning US capital invested abroad.
His initiative cut corporate tax rates to 21 percent from 35 percent, creating powerful incentives to hire, invest, rehire, and reinvest. Against the odds, labor productivity rose, which liberal economists had said was “impossible,” while inflation remained in check and growth exploded.
Dozens Of data points prove the “middle-class miracle” that was Trump’s economy. Topping the list is wage growth. Liberals swore Trump could not raise wages—yet he did. Inflation-adjusted wage growth since 1980 averaged $4.05 per quarter. Under Obama, it was $3.20 per quarter. In Trump’s first three years, wage growth averaged a staggering $6.90 per quarter.
Even when brought low by coronavirus, Trump’s economy kept employers and stocks afloat. Month by month, Americans have clawed back, with faith in economic fundamentals and prayers that state lockdowns will end. While Trump was blamed for not federalizing the COVID-19 he honored the 10th Amendment, which bars federal mandates where is constitutionally reserved to the states and people.
One layer deeper, Americans will have this president to thank for significant new understandings. NO longer will Americans assume their federal government, without oversight, is on the right track. Trump made clear-and ironically, his impeachment affirmed—that due process, openness, and honesty in government are not always present. They should be.
Trump began restoring our federal judiciary to its non-activist, constitutionally limited origins, nominating and confirming 220 federal judges and filling 25 percent of the federal bench, including nominating 53 judges to the 12 federal circuits, as well as adding three Supreme Court Justices.
For perspective, while presidents have done more over two terms, few have done as much in one. A breakdown shows that FDR appointed eight justices in four terms, Eisenhower, Taft, and Grant appointed five in two, and others appointed three or four in two, but Obama, both Bushes, Clinton, Johnson, and Kennedy only got two justices, and others got one. Trump has influenced the future mightily with judges.
Similarly, Trump’s speeches, such as in Saudi Arabia and Poland, have been epic. Years from now, when historians cull his presidential papers, these speeches will stand out, as will his States of the Union, all historically grounded, idealistic, optimistic, and other-regarding in tone. Trump reminded us to to revere, and to celebrate America’s past, taking lessons from it.
On the international stage, many decry Trump’s protective trade policies, willingness to speak of American exceptionalism, power comparisons, national self-interest, and closing endless wars. The truth is, he has made valid points.
Even if the world is interconnected, laws of comparative advantage—in sectors like energy production, manufacturing, and services—still matter, as does rule of law, generally. Truth matters. If something is wrong, and the international community is party to that wrongness, it needs calling out. In places like the UN, WTO, and WHO, Trump did that.
With respect to ensuring US national security and buttressing collective security among allies, Trump was impolitely frank, often unnecessarily public, but his points were neither inapt nor arcane. Alliances only work when allies keep their word, and he sought that assurance from NATO and in numerous bilateral contexts. He put teeth behind UN and unilateral sanctions.
Other firsts include creating the Space Force, the first new military branch since 1947; architecting a new moon landing, planned for one man and one woman: killing two of the world’s most infamous terrorist leaders, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Oasem Soleimani; and assisting countless patriotic state legislators, governors, mayors, and members of Congress to win elections on the basic credo of maintaining America’s greatness.
In this process, Trump realigned the Republican Party, bringing into the fold more former Democrats and Independents; Black, Hispanic, Asian, and other minority voters; union members; law enforcement officers; veterans; young idealists; and older patriots, all bound together by their love of, appreciation for, and hope in our constitutional freedoms, opportunity, and individual liberty.
In a word, being something other than an ordinary, traditional politician taking risks no president has taken in decades, speaking candidly, questioning assumptions, and pushing new ideas in economics, foreign policy, national and border security, public dialogue, and government transparency, Trump brought hope to many who had lost it. The mission now is to hold that hope. In the end, that is
what idealists, patriots, and citizens do—they look backward with gratitude and forward with hope.
This week, and for the second time, the Senate acquitted former President Trump, finding him innocent of the trumped-up charge brought against him earlier this year by angry, liberal Democrats in the House of Representatives. The precedent that was set this week is deeply troubling and the optics for the rule of law are horrible. President Trump did not violate his oath of office and always acted to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Furthermore, impeaching a President after he or she has left office is unconstitutional. The entire impeachment process was divisive, absurd, and illegal. Mr. Biden continues to say he wants unity, but actions speak louder than words. It is my sincere hope that Congress and the Administration turn its focus to the struggles currently facing the nation, including fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and strengthening our fragile economy. |
If a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, did it make a sound? If a scandal occurs at the highest levels of the U.S. government and the media refuse to cover it, did a scandal occur? We’ll see…
On October 22, 2020, Tony Bobulinski credibly laid out arguably the most damning testimony ever given about a U.S. presidential nominee in history and yet, half of the country has no idea who he is or what he is alleging. That’s because the media is refusing to cover the story.
Tony Bobulinski is real person, he is not a Russian agent. He’s a U.S. Navy veteran, whose only political contributions have been to Democrats. This is a legitimate story. The media’s overt refusal to cover this extremely important story simply because it may hurt the chances of the candidate they’d prefer win the election may be more concerning than the story itself. It means we have truly entered a new age of full-on censorship.
Tony Bobulinski is Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner in a company called “SinoHawk” of which Mr. Bobulinski is the CEO. Bobulinski released hundreds of text messages and emails from his time as CEO last week.
Bobulinski claimed Thursday that he had a falling out with the Biden family when Hunter Biden wanted to pocket $5 million from an initial $10 million cash injection into SinoHawk, ponied up by CEFC (a Chinese energy conglomerate). “I repeated to Hunter and others that SinoHawk could not be Hunter’s personal piggy bank,” stated Bobulinski.
The FBI, as well as the Senate Judiciary Committee, are scheduled to speak with Mr. Bobulinski. We will be following this story very closely.

Further, one percent of its budget comes from federal tax dollars and it receives additional funding from state and local money – meaning it works for the American people. With 11 days left until the election, the American people should receive all possible information to make an informed decision, and they deserve to have a full spectrum of reporting about whether the Vice President abused the powers of his office or if this is Russian disinformation. Either way, this is a story, and NPR is not doing its job because it is trying to censor for political gain. That is why this week some senators called for the defunding of NPR .
Government involvement in domestic journalism is a dangerous concept, whether it contributes $1 or $1 billion, and NPR’s censorship of this story is appalling. Would you continue paying for a private subscription to any newspaper which purposefully did not report certain stories? No, so why should the American people keep its subscription to NPR?

It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are Facts.
Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes.
Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION message was removed.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in red.
1.) That participation in the Program would be Completely voluntary [No longer voluntary],
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed],
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible],
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and Spent], and
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be Taxed].
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US
AND MY FAVORITE:
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though. Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so — but it’s worth a try. How many people can YOU send to?
Mac Donald [Manhattan Institute scholar Heather Mac Donald] points out that while blacks are 23 percent of New York City’s population, they are responsible for 75 percent of shootings and 70 percent of robberies. Whites are 34 percent of the population of New York City. They are responsible for less than 2 percent of shootings and 4 percent of robberies.
If you’re trying to prevent shootings and robberies, whom are you going to focus most attention on, blacks or whites?
This is not a racist issue it’s a statistical one. Further, the article states,
Academic liberals and civil rights spokespeople make the claim that the disproportionate number of blacks in prison is a result of racism. They ignore the fact that black criminal activity is many multiples of that of other racial groups.
Thank you Walter Williams for revealing a crucial piece of data that the mass media seems to regularly leave out. Could it be that the mainstream media’s skewed or incomplete reporting is actually fueling the fire?

The post Cell Phones Damage DNA – The First Step To Cancer first appeared on insights.]]>Here is a complete article detailing these findings and what you can do.
..In Afghanistan, three American soldiers were disposing of various damaged and unusable religious materials at NATO’S Bagram Air Force Base north of Kabul. Included in the items they were burning in the base’s burn pit, were several copies of the Koran. These were Korans that the American government had purchased to provide free of charge to the jihadist prisoners held on the base. However, several of these books were damaged and some had been used by prisoners to pass messages and information, so the authorities decided to discard them.
When some Afghans who are employed by the U.S. government as workers on the base discovered that copies of the Koran were being burned, they pulled some of the unburned pages from the ashes and made a beeline for their friends. From there, word quickly spread that the Americans were desecrating the Holy Koran. Of course, the Taliban and al-Qaeda were only too happy to help spread the word and fan the flames, so to speak.
Before long, rioting spread across Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf region. Over the next several days, supposedly “loyal” Afghans turned on their American counterparts and killed them. As of today, six American soldiers are dead. The overall death toll now stands at about 40.
So the Obama Administration quickly got its act together and issued an… apology. In fact, several apologies. The President, the Defense Secretary, the American general leading the coalition forces all apologized. Obama by letter to the treacherous Afghan president Hamid Karzai, the others by television. The President even promised to “hold accountable those responsible.”
So, how is that going to work? Unless something is buried deep in the Obamacare bill that former Speaker Pelosi hasn’t discovered yet, I don’t believe U.S. law forbids the burning of a Koran. On the other hand, some observers say that Afghan law may require the death penalty for desecration by a non-Muslim. American service members are governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which is predicated on U.S. laws. Afghan law in this case could be translated “Sharia” law.
One can guess that this is going to be quite a headache for President Obama. Should he hand our soldiers over to the Afghanis to be tried in a Sharia court? That would be a sticky wicket for a government that screams about the “wall of separation” between church and state at every opportunity. That would also imply that he honors Sharia law above our own. Or, should he insist on whatever “discipline” — if any — that might be called for under the UCMJ. Keeping in mind, of course, that in America you can burn a Bible, a stack of Bibles, a cross, a flag, even a bra!
However, the thing that I find interesting is that the President can dash off a personal apology to an entire country and require his top military people to do the same over the proper (by the way) disposal of some already-desecrated Korans. Yet, all he and the State Department can manage are tepid press statements scolding Iran for sentencing a Christian to die for choosing, as a teenager, Jesus Christ over Mohammed. We should not be apologizing to Afghanistan and Karzai. We should be demanding that Karzai bring to justice those who have taken the lives of six Americans and dozens of Afghans. And, we should be demanding that Iran release Pastor Nadarkhani or suffer the outrage of America and the West.
The post Koran Burning: Obama’s Response first appeared on insights.]]>By early February, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded was $3.56. That’s not the highest it’s ever been, but gasoline prices have never been this high this early in the season. It’s interesting, too, that demand for gasoline is also at record levels — record LOWS and falling! According to MasterCard, demand fell by 3.1% in recent days and is 5% below last year. And even though Europe has had a brutal winter, this has been a rather mild one for the US. Yet, heating fuel prices have not fallen despite the fact that Americans used far less heating oil than expected this year.
Some observers credit the fact that Saudi Arabia has cut production by more than 250,000 barrels per day. Also, Iran decided to punish Europe for threatening to impose fuel sanctions. The Iranians announced they will stop sending more than 300,000 barrels per day to France, England, and Germany.
So, there seems to be no easy answer to the most popular question these days, “Why?” Why are fuel prices rising when demand is falling?
And, it appears the Obama administration is not going to take advantage of a golden opportunity to drive those prices down, put tens of thousands to work, and decrease our dependence on Arab oil.
Canada has more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia. Because of new technologies not available just a few years ago, Canada has been able to begin successfully recovering that crude oil. The Canadians announced that they wanted to sell that oil to their neighbors to the south. That’s us! So the private sector got busy and in 2005 began developing and building a pipeline that would move Canadian crude from northeastern Alberta province to refineries throughout the Midwest and on down to the Gulf Coast states.
Talk about a bonanza! The mammoth pipeline project is privately funded. No government stimulus funds needed. It will employ tens of thousands in construction-related jobs and maybe hundreds of thousands in related industries as the project grows and the oil is finally pumping. And there’s so much oil available, it will help make us less dependent on Arab oil. And it will help drive down the refined prices because, currently, Saudi oil is selling for $105 a barrel while Canadian oil is going for $33 per barrel. Some analysts speculate that within a few years, by combining our reserves with Canada’s, America could become a net oil exporter. We could sell oil to fuel-hungry China and maybe get some of our money back!
Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Wrong! Remember, we are now living in a “progressive” society. There’s no such thing as a “no-brainer” anymore. You see, our President is either so ideologically bound or so financially beholden to the environmentalist lobby that he feels obligated to do its bidding. So, on January 18, President Obama announced he was rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline project.
You see, he first tried to “postpone” his final decision until 2013 so he wouldn’t have to antagonize the environmentalists going into the 2012 general elections. Congress would have none of that, though. So they passed legislation requiring him to make a decision within 60 days or formally reject the project.
Then, President Obama complained that his government didn’t have time to do an effective environmental survey. That excuse brazenly ignored the fact that his own State Department had already issued an environmental impact study in 2010 that gave the project the environmental “green light.” So, the so-called “smartest President” in American history caved to the far Left and said “no” to a “no-brainer.” Even many in his own party are outraged.
Canada had already declared that they intended to sell the oil. If not to their closest neighbors (that’s us), then to someone else. It is now late February and the Canadians have already begun signing agreements with the Chinese to build the pipeline to Canada’s west coast and begin shipping the crude to China.

“…as I watch our economy continue to convulse beneath an increasing tax burden, a smothering national debt, and stifling new administrative regulations, I marvel at how deep the deception runs. Though we think of our nation as the land of entrepreneurship, capitalism, and free markets, there’s nothing “free” about it today. Our entire financial system is owned and controlled, lock, stock, and barrel, by a shadowy, private, global financial cabal. Its front in America is The Federal Reserve System. Texas governor Rick Perry thinks the Fed’s actions may be “treasonous.” I think he may be on to something.”

Abbas has been adamant in his determination to submit a formal request to the Security Council. The PA says it will also ask the General Assembly to extend recognition. That will be a slam dunk there, since the majority of nations are Muslim or Muslim-sympathetic. Observers expect about 130 of the 191 members will vote in favor of the Palestinian state.
Of course, the GA carries no legal weight. Only Security Council votes bear the authority of international law. But recognition by the General Assembly will still complicate things immeasurably for Israel. The US has announced it will veto the request at the Security Council and President Obama essentially confirmed that in his speech to the UN on Wednesday.
But whether or not the Palestinian Authority actually carries through with its threat at this session, all of this just goes to show that the world is growing ever closer to forcing Israel to accept a failed terrorist state within its borders. The events of the last few weeks illustrate perfectly what the ancient prophets predicted: in the last days the entire world will line up against Israel.
Israel’s legitimacy as a modern nation is rooted in the same League of Nations actions, taken decades earlier, that provide legitimacy for Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Kuwait, and other Arab nations in the Middle East…. The bottom line is if those nations are legitimate, then so is Israel. If Israel has no legitimacy as a nation, then neither do the other nations of the Middle East. You can’t have it both ways.

The wireless industry, including the CTIA lobbying group, and the Federal Communications Commission and U.S. Food and Drug Administration have also long maintained that cell phones were safe.
In a report issued today, the IARC said it now lists mobile phone use in the same category as lead, gasoline engine exhaust, and chloroform. Officially, cell phone radiation is listed as a “carcinogenic hazard.” Download the IARC report here.

In September, 2009, the connection had already been established between brain tumors and cell phone usage. At that time I wrote an article titled “Brain Tumors Solidly Linked to Cell Phone Usage“. The evidence has not changed. The danger is still there. What has changed is that this evidence has become more apparent. I would ask you to liken cell phone safety with driving safety; you fasten your seatbelt to reduce your chances of injury, and there are things you can do to reduce the health hazards from using a cell phone — these are listed in my article.

The post Will Israel’s Major Oil Deposits Change the World? first appeared on insights.]]>Some experts predict that Israel may possess enough natural gas that it could relieve Europe of its dependence on Russia as its major gas supplier. In fact, Greece is already proposing an agreement to make it the hub through which those supplies will flow to Europe.
Other knowledgeable sources speculate that Israel possesses the third largest reserve of oil shale deposits in the world, behind only America and China. They say it will rival Saudi Arabia’s reserves. Up to now, though, oil obtained from shale rock has been expensive to recover and the whole process considered ecologically dirty. What’s more, the recovery consumes vast amounts of water, an expensive and increasingly rare commodity. However, the Israelis are developing a new process to recover shale oil that is neither dirty nor as expensive as current methods. It takes place a thousand feet underground and actually produces water rather than consumes it!
If they’re successful, not only can they mine their own vast reserves, but they can make the technology available for Western nations to use. This would break the back of the Arab nations’ stranglehold on the world oil market. Dore Gold, former Israeli Ambassador to the UN, said that the effect of the spread of this technology would be to “shift the center of gravity of world oil away from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the Persian Gulf to more stable states that have no history of backing terrorism or radical Islamic causes.”
The last 90 days have made painfully clear to the West that the Muslim oil-supplier states that were previously volatile and undependable (and didn’t hesitate to commit extortion with their oil), are now even more so. You can bet that if a Western-oriented, stable nation were to suddenly be able to supply those same energy products, the West, particularly Europe, would be knocking on their door tomorrow.
All of a sudden, Ezekiel’s description of Israel in the last days as a people who “have acquired land and wealth and who live at the center of the world” takes on new meaning! Isn’t it exciting to see prophecy unfolding before us at breakneck speed?

My Christian faith then has been a sustaining force for me over these last few years. All the more so, when Michelle and I hear our faith questioned from time to time, we are reminded that ultimately what matters is not what other people say about us but whether we’re being true to our conscience and true to our God. “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.” But while I petition God for a whole range of things, there are a few common themes that do recur. The first category of prayer comes out of the urgency of the Old Testament prophets and the Gospel itself. I pray for my ability to help those who are struggling. Christian tradition teaches that one day the world will be turned right side up and everything will return as it should be. But until that day, we’re called to work on behalf of a God that chose justice and mercy and compassion to the most vulnerable. […] So my prayer this morning is that we might seek His face not only in those moments, but each and every day; that every day as we go through the hustle and bustle of our lives, whether it’s in Washington or Hollywood or anywhere in between, that we might every so often rise above the here and now, and kneel before the Eternal; that we might remember [ …] the fact that those who wait on the Lord will soar on wings like eagles, and they will run and not be weary, and they will walk and not faint. When I wake in the morning, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to give me the strength to do right by our country and its people. And when I go to bed at night I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to forgive me my sins, and look after my family and the American people, and make me an instrument of His will. I say these prayers hoping they will be answered, and I say these prayers knowing that I must work and must sacrifice and must serve to see them answered. But I also say these prayers knowing that the act of prayer itself is a source of strength. It’s a reminder that our time on Earth is not just about us; that when we open ourselves to the possibility that God might have a larger purpose for our lives, there’s a chance that somehow, in ways that we may never fully know, God will use us well. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may He bless this country that we love. |
